Rula holds an MSc in Machine Learning from University College London (UCL). Her graduate thesis research focused on Natural Language Processing under Professor Sebastian Riedel, DeepMind. She secured prestigious grant funding from the European Union to further advance and commercialise this work. She is a technical lead at a pioneering AI startup, Logically. In this role, she has lead product development and shaped AI research and development initiatives. Her leadership has seen accomplishments such as publication of work in top-tier machine learning journals such as: ACL, and ICML. The work translated has been instrumental in supporting the company’s mission to safeguard election integrity and protect against disinformation among global customers.  She serves as UK lead for Women in AI, an organisation dedicated to ensuring inclusiveness and diversity in the artificial intelligence field. As a representative, she embodies Women in AI's core mission that no one gets left behind in the AI revolution.  With her extensive experience as an award-winning tech and product lead for AI tech, her presence at the conference will inform, inspire, and drive critical conversations on AI's potential to shape a better future for society.
