Leon, an audience insight professional, has worked across film, TV & the music industry, including Walt Disney International & spending more than a decade at Universal Music working in international & UK roles where he also led the UK insight team. Joining the BPI (the UK music recording industry trade body) in 2021, Leon & his team are responsible for delivering insights & trends on recorded music consumption while also overseeing the BPI Tech Community membership which is now fast approaching its 5th year in Spring 2024 with a 125+ members. BPI celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2023 and has a membership that includes all three of the UK leading record companies, Universal, Sony and Warner alongside over 400 independent labels.
