Mx Kirsten Lamb
Research Communication Manager,
Centre for Digital Built Britain
With a background in library and information science and archaeological heritage management, Kirsten is interested in the negotiations that take place over how we collect, manage and use information. Coming from the perspective that data and information are not neutral but charged with the assumptions and decisions that created them, Kirsten encourages discussions about how the digital systems we are designing in the built environment impact equality of access, opportunity and justice for people and nature. Since joining CDBB in 2018, Kirsten has helped grow and share the knowledge base toward a digital built Britain and communicating the National Digital Twin programme's Climate Resilience Demonstrator. They are especially proud to have co-authored the book Four Futures, One Choice (2020) and led on developing the Digital Twin Journeys series.
