Jonathan is a data protection and technology specialist with a particular focus on advising financial services clients and leads our international data protection practice. Clients range from international banks to asset managers and pension funds as well advising clients in other sectors. He has spent time on secondment at the ICO and global financial institutions and has led numerous international privacy projects across multiple jurisdictions. Recent experience includes leading a Schrems II remediation project for a global bank and assisting an insurer on implementing a privacy compliance programme. Other work includes advice on a financial crime industry notification scheme and working with London First to develop the London Data Charter set of data sharing principles. Jonathan is a founding member of the City of London Law Society Data Committee which helps to shape industry practice in response to government and regulatory consultations.
