Dr Clare Walsh is the Director of Education at the Institute of Analytics and oversees their work to upskill the workforce in data analytics. She was the author of around 20 books, including global market leaders in their field, and has worked in e-learning and training at a global level with everyone from teenagers to C-suite. After re-training in analytics, she completed an MSc and PhD with the Computer Science Department at the University of Southampton and the prestigious Web Science Institute thanks to funding from the Digital Economy Network. She has advised governments on performance measure testing with complex skills, and supporting the transition from university to data analytics career. She has offered expert advice in complex legal cases in this area and is a popular speaker at engagement events.
