Record breaking numbers of IT professionals gathered in ExCeL, London two weeks ago for the 2018 edition of Big Data World and its co-located events: Cloud Expo Europe, Cloud Security Expo, Smart IoT and Data Centre World.

The five co-located events drew in visitors from different countries in industries as diverse as healthcare, finance, food and retail. Visitors were able to enjoy access to the UK's most extensive supplier exhibition and a world-leading conference programme across the two-day event.

With the event covering the entire technology ecosystem, from the largest data centres down to the smallest sensors that populate the smart cities of the future, thousands of IT decision makers from organisations such as Ralph Lauren, BT, The Daily Mail, Sky, Google, Post Office and Disney were in attendance in the ExCeL halls. 

Recognising the importance of cross-industry collaboration and discussion, the show prioritised a number of key streams. This included a focus on real-world applications of rapidly emerging technologies.

With huge media buzz and industry interest, speakers and panels at the show discussed and put into practice in real situations, with real-life cases and testaments from the people at the frontline.
